KLOSR Design is a structural and architectural design & build studio with over 11 years of experience delivering structural consultation/ design, architectural consultation/ design and planning assistance across central London and Kent.
We aim to provide a service that excites and inspires the client to do more. The studio’s expertise spans several sectors including hospitality, domestic, heritage, and commercial sectors. Like all services we provide, our design & build studio strives to provide a value-for-money service whilst also exceeding expectations. Our design team can assist you throughout the entire tender and construction process of the build – from architectural feasibility and planning drawings through to structural drawings and calculations ready for a complete planning permission and building reg submissions package. We have a wealth of experience working on projects that require specialist software and BIM modelling/ analytics requirements – both as a contributor and as a BIM Managers. We have a large range of BIM, design and analytical software at our disposal and can adapt to work with federated models and calculations where required.Our service is tailored to each client’s needs, and the process is as simple as a consultation and a coffee. You tell us your idea or dream space, and our design studio does the rest behind the scenes.
Using cutting edge topographical mapping software, we plot your outdoor space into a 3D environment and build your dreams from a canvas of the land. From there our architects and conceptual designers construct and fabricate your ideas onto the existing topography and produce an extensive and explorable 3D model. Our in-house structural engineers and MEP engineers then collaborate within the model, exploring structural design solutions by innovative column/ beam placements & solutions, value engineering processes and clash detection within the architectural/ structural/ MEP elements. This process circulates between the entire design team until a fully accomplished and refined product is ready to be issued to our clients. A by product of encapsulating the entire design & build team under one roof means we can provide architectural drawings, structural drawings & calcs in one package ready for the planning permission and building regs submission packages.
We understand the constant uphill struggle and moving target you’re faced with when navigating a new project on your own. Whether it be uncertainty over the design, material costs, or labour – this is why the price we provide you with is the price you’ll pay. Our fee is fixed for each stage of the project – so if there’s one thing you can rest assured on, it’s that the design fees will not increase.
The world around us has changed and adapted considerably over the past few years, gone are the days of hand drawn calculations, drawings, and renders which allow room for human error and reduced productivity.
We only use the best structural, analytical and visual conceptual design products on the market which allows us to collaborate each practice under one International Foundation Class model, streamlining the entire process more accurately and efficiently.
We don’t just rely on technology to create accurate information. The experience held in the studio allows our design team to provide practical ‘on-site’ input to any design, either validating concepts bought forward or providing more suitable solutions to the task at hand.
